Back in 1968 Phil travelled to Japan with his family and in Yokohama he purchased a Pentax Spotmatic camera which I adopted in 2000. A few years later he purchased a Pentax KM in Singapore which came with a Asahi Pentax SMC 1:1.8/55 lens. Today I decided to remove the SMC lens from the Spotmatic and try it on my Pentax istDL dslr. WOW! I love the f1.8-22 range! It doesn't have any zoom capabilities but it is great for macro and portraits.
